ARPwave Therapy

The ARPwave device uses a patented bio-electrical current, that when combined with active range-of-motion can significantly speed up the body’s natural recuperative ability. The ARP possesses specific characteristics that are unlike any other conventional therapeutic neuromuscular electrical stimulators such as micro-current, interferential, Russian Stimulation and iontophoresis. The ARP uses a direct current (DC) compounded with high frequency double exponential, patented background waveform. This background waveform is harmonious with the body and allows the current to pass through the skin and fatty tissue more easily so it can reach deep inside the muscle. Also, the ARP’s unique waveform produces little inhibitory protective muscle contractions to allow for full range of motion while the current is being applied. This permits eccentric (lengthening) contractions to occur which are critical to treatment.
